"Faith and Food: making the connections"

A conference organised by a group of Christians from in and around Oxford

Aims
  • To make connections between our food and our faith
  • To explore the ethics of how food is produced, marketed and consumed
  • To look at new food problems such as:
    • the rising price of food and increasing costs of producing it
    • increasing levels of obesity even in developing countries
  • To reflect on the place of food in our worship
  • To challenge us to think more widely and deeply about food
